Women In Architecture are Something to Celebrate

Each year new leaders of AIA rise to the surface, shine in their office and then retire at the end of their term. Among that usual cycle, we are occasionally lucky enough to be offered service that endures.

With that introduction, it should come as no surprise that today AIA NJ recognizes three Women In Architecture who have dedicated years to the advancement of the profession, the AIA and all that we stand for. Their names are well known among our members and beyond. A very special thank you and Happy Birthday to these generous women who have each committed time, talent and effort in excess!

Kimberly Bunn, AIA, AIA NJ Communications Chair and Past President

Verity Frizzell, FAIA, AIA NJ Immediate Past President and Past COTE Chair

Joyce Scatuccio, AIA, AIA South Jersey Secretary and Meeting Coordinator AIA NJ Past Regional Associate Director

Architects are creative professionals, educated, trained, and experienced in the art and science of building design, and licensed to practice architecture. Their designs respond to client needs, wants and vision, protect public safety, provide economic value, are innovative, inspire and contribute positively to the community and the environment.
