Significant Changes to the 2018 IRC New Jersey
Description: Jack Boekhout’s primary business is to provide consultation on Building Codes and Accessibility Codes for Architects, Engineer’s, Contractors, Code Officials and Attorneys. Participants will be made aware of some of the fine points of the New Jersey edition of the 2018 IRC. Included will be information concerning the changes in the Residential code that are specific to New Jersey. In addition to a comprehensive handout, 2-page IRC plan review checklist will be provided to help anyone checking the drawings for compliance prior to submital. Many of the new requirements for decks will be discussed as well.

Let’s take a look at the NJ Edition of the 2018 IBC
Description: Jack Boekhout’s primary business is to provide consultation on Building Codes and Accessibility Codes for Architects, Engineer’s, Contractors, Code Officials and Attorneys. Participants will be made aware of some of the fine points of the New Jersey edition of the 2018 IBC. Included will be information concerning the changes in the code that are specific to New Jersey. In addition to a comprehensive handout, an abbreviated 2-page plan review checklist will be provided to help anyone checking the drawings for compliance prior to submittal. In addition to changes, the topics will include height and area calculations review along with examples.
