AIA Central New Jersey and Preservation New Jersey Hosted a Joint Event at The Historic Hunterdon Courthouse and JailOn Saturday, June 14th, history and architecture lovers gathered at the historic Hunterdon Courthouse and Jail for a lecture and tour jointly provided by AIA Central New Jersey and Preservation New Jersey. Michael Hanrahan, FAIA, partner, and James Giresi, AIA, senior associate of Clarke Caton Hintz, lectured on the history and fame of this civic landmark, the sensitivity required to restore and refurbish it, and the efforts to create an ADA-accessible entrance. Preservation NJ President Paul Muir gave the opening remarks.
