AIA New Jersey Members Widely Represented at the AIA 25 Conference in Boston, MA

June 4-7, 2025, architects from across the nation and around the globe descended upon Boston, Massachusetts, for the 2025 AIA National Conference.

The promise of exciting tours, introduction of new products, education on technology, networking, business advice, awards, fun and GREAT architecture all contributed to a robust turnout by members from AIA New Jersey!

Hilights of the event included AIA NJ President Andrew Thompson, AIA, NOMAC, Chair of the AIA SPD, the Small Project Design (SPD) Knowledge Community within the American Institute of Architects (AIA). This community focuses on recognizing and celebrating the value of small-scale architectural projects. They aim to raise public awareness about the impact of design excellence in small projects, regardless of their size or budget. Andrew was a presenter at the #AIA25 #AIA SPD program.

#AIANJ President Andrew Thompson, AIA, also stepped to the microphone to support a Resolution to allow for Fellowship to be granted posthumously. The Resolution passed! Making things happen at #aia25! @aianational #NJArchitects #njarchitect
