Call for SpeakersThe AIA NJ Committee on the Environment (COTE) invites thought leaders, innovators, and advocates in sustainable architecture, urban planning, and design to submit proposals to present at the East Coast Green 2025 Virtual Conference, a two-day event dedicated to advancing and advocating for regenerative design practices.
This year’s theme, “Regenerative Design: Building a Resilient, Sustainable, and Equitable Future,” focuses on creating thoughtful solutions that respond to the pressing challenges of climate change, community resilience, and environmental justice. We seek compelling presentations that explore innovative strategies, research, and case studies that inspire action and advance sustainable, equitable, and resilient design.

Circular Economy in the Built Environment: Designing for reuse, adaptability, and waste minimization.
Health and Wellness: The intersection of sustainability and occupant wellbeing.
Green Infrastructure: Integrating urban ecology, biodiversity, and sustainable water systems.
Emerging Technologies: Digital tools, AI, and data-driven solutions for sustainable design.
We welcome architects, designers, planners, engineers, researchers, policymakers, and other industry
leaders with diverse expertise and experiences. Collaborative and interdisciplinary presentations are
highly encouraged.
To maintain the integrity of the educational experience, all presentations must focus on education
and knowledge sharing. Absolutely no endorsements of specific products or services, and no sales
pitches will be permitted. Proposals that do not adhere to this policy will not be considered.
