Significant changes to the 2018 IRC, New Jersey

Jack Boekhout’s primary business is to provide consultation on Building Codes and Accessibility Codes for Architects, Engineer’s, Contractors, Code Officials and Attorneys. Participants will be made aware of some of the fine points of the New Jersey edition of the 2018 IRC. Included will be information concerning the changes in the Residential code that are specific to New Jersey. In addition to a comprehensive handout, 2-page IRC plan review checklist will be provided to help anyone checking the drawings for compliance prior to submittal. Many of the new requirements for decks will be discussed as well.
