Course Description:

Ironbound Hard Cider founder, Charles Rosen, and Design Strategist and Culinary Director, Ben Walmer AIA, will host a tour and discuss food and design as it relates to social impact, the local economy and regenerative agriculture.

  • Learning Objective 1: Attendees will learn about unique adaptive reuse of the historic barn structure and agricultural site.
  • Learning Objective 2: Attendees will learn about how the design accommodates a diverse range of overlapping agritourism experiences and food and beverage production activities.
  • Learning Objective 3: Attendees with learn about sustainable design and placemaking as it relates to cultural branding.
  • Learning Objective 4: Attendees will learn about the integration and importance of community building for this type of project.
