Through a collected archive of historical photographs\, memorabilia\, and newspaper clippings\, the presentation tells the story of the various personalities and events that have shaped the organization the professional and educate the public on the important role of architects in the society. The webinar touches on historical events of local\, state\, and national significance\, but also illustrates the organizational\, leadership\, and community outreach efforts necessary for successful advocacy of the architectural profession. It is intended for enthusiasts of local architectural history and biographical history\, as well as the emerging leaders within AIA.
